Our resident techie, John Noble, has been hard at work updating our search feature. We’re happy to announce that our email update system has been upgraded. Visitors who save favorite properties and searches will now receive email updates when there is a price change or description change to their favorite properties, or properties located within their saved searches.

Some of our regular users noticed a drop in the number of Denver real estate listings on our search feature over the last two days. We had a brief interruption of our data feed from the MLS providers, but the problem was solved late last night and all of our Boulder real estate and Denver real estate listings are up to date and accurate.
Thanks to those of you who emailed us so quickly to let us know about the drop in new listings. Because of you we were able to correct this problem right away.
On another search-related note, our polygon search is just about ready for launch. Our search feature will be even more user-friendly very soon. The polygon feature will allow you to draw a shape on the Google map and limit your search to the borders of the shape. You’ll be able to save your “polygon” and receive updates when new homes appear within your perfect search area.
We’re very excited about this feature. Look for it soon!

Two local MLS providers, IRES and Metrolist, are moving towards streamlining their Denver real estate and Boulder real estate listings data. Officially allowing Brokers like myself an “MLS of choice”. Why does this matter? It means that companies like mine that work across multiple MLS zones can now choose to give our business to the MLS provider who (now get this) provides us with the best service. Can you imagine such a thing. It sounds…fair.
Maybe this difficult market will force certain overdue changes in this crazy business.

I believe we’ve created the best home search feature in the entire state of
Colorado here at Real-a-Save. Our newest feature is Text
Search.
Text Search allows a person to enter any word or phrase as a search
criteria. Here is an example search with the following criteria:
- Boulder real estate, single family house
- priced between 750,000 and 1,250,000
- two bedrooms or more
- two garage spaces or more
- must have access to trails nearby as you love to run
With Real-a-Save’s search feature the following search is really easy to
do. See this link for the homes fitting the above criteria.The phrases or words you can

Is that like saying “robust paradigm”? I hate to sound like an overpaid management
consultant, but we’ve really tried to pack our new website with lots of
features. We’ve tried to make it (ack) a feature rich environment.
One of our goals when we launched Real-a-Save was to make it as quick and
easy for visitors to get as much information as possible, without forcing our
visitors to jump through hoops to get that information. We also wanted to offer
home buyers and sellers all of the information they’d need in one convenient
place. We tried to follow the “build it and they will come” philosophy made
famous in that little baseball movie.
